With an unwavering passion for exploring the world, I look forward to traveling as far and as long as I can, building on my adventures across already more than 25 countries and 6 continents. As the daughter of owners Mary and Riley Fitzhugh, I have travel woven into my very being. My parents, with their extensive careers at American Airlines, instilled a deep love for travel in me, following in the footsteps of my grandfather, a distinguished pilot.

Despite earning undergraduate and master’s degrees from the University of Oklahoma and dedicating 15 years to a career as a psychotherapist, the allure of travel proved irresistible. In 2012, I answered the call and joined Journey House, channeling my passion for helping people into creating extraordinary travel experiences. It has been my honor to uphold our family’s vision, delivering exceptional customer service and crafting unforgettable itineraries that forge lifelong memories.

Travel is not just my profession but cherished part of my personal life. I relish sharing my adventures with family and friends, especially my husband, Brad, and our daughter, Caroline. My favorite adventure to date is safari in Serengeti. Through my journeys, I've learned some invaluable lessons, my favorite being :1) Traveling with children broadens their horizons, boosts their confidence, and offers education beyond any classroom, and 2) Embracing travel with fellow empty nesters is a wonderful way to reignite excitement and joy in life.
